Our Relationships

Our relationships

Our Relationships With Each Other

  • 1 Corinthians 12:5-8, (After the Resurrection) he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of who are still living, though some have fallen asleep.  Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, and last of all he appeared to me.
  • Just as Jesus’ earthly relationships had direct continuity with his resurrected relationships. Jesus appeared to the ones He loved, we also will continue to have relationships with the ones we love, fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, sons, daughters, friends.
  • We will build new relationships with the saints, angels, animals and the rest of the new creation.
  • There will be marriage, but it will be between Christ Jesus and the Church.
  • We will be surrounded by the ones we love and many other people that God brought into our lives. What God started in a relationship on earth, will continue and it will grow in eternity.
  • All those in Christ will be one body, one church, one bride and yet we will keep our identities.
